The U Theatre will be featured at the grand
opera house of NJPAC

The U Theatre is presented by New Jersey Performing Arts at its renowned
World Festival VII. This festival has established more than 6 years ago. World
Festival invited the best performing groups around the world, they were
hand-picked by Baraka Sele, who is the talented, gorgeous and chic director with
extraordinary superb taste. She visited Taiwan and attended all the art groups
In 2000-2, World Festival IV & V of NJPAC presented 6 groups from Taiwan,
most of them were at the smaller hall, such as the Victoria Hall seating around
500. The Cloud Gate Dance Group was featured at Prudential Hall in the fall of
2000.
On Sunday, October 5 at 7PM, the U Theatre will be featured at the grand
opera house of NJPAC. Prudential Hall is the opera house's name, from the
name we understand that who is the big donor of this hall. I attended its opening
few years ago, the hall itself would be a treat just by being there.
One of the important reasons for TAANJ to support this upcoming U Theatre
performance would be for the NJPAC to evaluate its future engagement for any art
group from Taiwan. If the tickets of U Theatre from Taiwan are sold well at the box
office, we would be able to enjoy more art groups from Taiwan at World Festival
of NJPAC, and the most honorable aspect would be seeing our performing arts
produced and sponsored by the mainstream as the New Jersey Performing Arts
Center.
